The Surge in Iraq War

Ask yourself this. . . What if we had pulled all of our troops out of Germany at the end of 1945? After the end of WWII it took years and many thousands of allied lives to finally put the Nazis to an end once and for all. To have the enemy on the ropes and to pack your gear and go home is to fight another day. This is one War that we as Americans must finish so that our children will not have to engage them in the future!

Sarah Palin is just the first good choice for McCain, the second will be McCain saying at the convention that he will serve only one term as President and will work the entire four years for the American people. Hillary then would throw her support to John not in words, but by what she does not say about Obama.

Merkley was unaware of the invasion ?

Jeff Merkley could be a US Senator next January if elected this Fall. I hope being on the road a few days as a Senator and after selling himself as the "foreign policy" candidate. He would get a Blackberry and keep well informed. But will the voters of Oregon give him that chance? You never know in the land of weirdness and nutty politics.
