If green is good, Higher gas Prices are Better!

So the candidates want to save the planet, lower our carbon foot print. Higher gas prices are the answer! Higher gas prices have increased use of public transportation, lessen congestion in all major cities, and have reduced use of carbon emissions. Al Gores dream come true. So here is the question. . . why aren't any of the White House contenders saying higher fuel cost are good for the planet, are lowering green house gases and that we should encourage higher fuel cost through taxes that would fund public transportation. Hillary, Obama, McCain. . . Be the first one! Say it out loud and with emotion. 4.99 gas is good for the planet and 10.99 would be even better! Can you say "Big Oil to the Rescue"?
